Love tool one of my fav bands tell me what u think?

but i like nirvana, judas priest, iron maiden, ac/dc, rush, tom petty, van halen, etc. more than tool...

Eww Nirvana?! Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Van Halen, Metallica, are all great. Tool is pretty awesome. Slipknot pwns. Rob Zombie is a freaking legend. White Zombie was good but they changed to Rob Zombie. System of a Down still rox my sox off.

WOW!!! I love Tool. 10,000 Days is an amazingly cool album. So was/is Lateralus.

I am also with MaRc though, I love all of the older stuff, but I love to mix it in with all of the newer stuff. I mean come on....Iron Maiden is the shit. So is AC/DC. And who could forget Judas Priest? They rock just as hard as Iron Maiden and AC/DC!

I LOVE SOAD! I have been hooked since hte Toxicity album. And what about Rage Against the Machine?!?!!? THEY!!!! are awesome.

BTW.....Lordruss, go Here to listen to one of Tool's most popular song on their latest album. Tool is definately a "Dark" band, but that is just their style. You might not like it depending on your age. I remember when I was about 12, I didnt understand Tool at all. I hated them and my cousin loved them.

well atm my fav songs from tool is The Pot Vicarious sober and Schism but all of the others are great

I don't know about you guys but Manyrd definately went through something when he was a kid. He often mentions muddy waters, maybe an esperience he had when he was little.

I think that someone/something out of the ordinary happend to him when he was young or something. I think they are depicting a message through their music. They are the "Tool" for getting the message out.

Manyrd's and the rest of the guys were separated due to some of them being with Perfect Circle. Manyrd recieved the music and had to put words to it. He is either one of the best or if not the best musician on planet earth, or he is inspired to write things that are basically impossible to just come up with.

Try this. Listen to these two tracks if you own the cd and read the lyrics. Tell me what you think.
